You can make it a bit fancier with weaving a ribbon around the waist and thru the 3rd or 4th row from the bottom. I also add a small ribbon or a flower to the front neck line.
What do you sew? I do a lot of craft things. Right now I'm into making purses.
ReplyDeleteCute. What is the gauge? I crochet tightly and will use the I hook as ususl when it says G but I don't have the doll handy to measure. I'm in Southern California and the doll is in Oklahoma:-(

I need help. I am a beginner at crochet. i have made a few afghans and shawls, but I have never attempted clothes. this pattern sounded easy enough, but I am on the skirt I never have enough stitches at the end of the row. I added to row 10 to get the right amount to end with 7 dc and 2 in the next. then got row 11 started and I am still not having enough stitches to end with 9 dc and 2 in the next. what am I doing wrong ? frustrating!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your articles?

Thank you for this pattern! I made it for an American Girl doll. I used worsted weight "I Love This Yarn" brand yarn and an "H" hook to reach the proper size to fit the doll.
